Police Seek Two Suspects Following Woodhaven Stabbing

A 25-year-old man was hospitalized after an early morning altercation at a Woodhaven business.

Authorities are investigating a stabbing that occurred in Woodhaven, Queens, early Saturday morning, July 25. According to the NYPD, a 25-year-old man was injured during a verbal confrontation that escalated into violence.

The incident took place at approximately 5 a.m. inside 96-21 Atlantic Avenue. Police report that the victim became involved in a dispute with two men he did not know. The situation turned physical when one of the individuals allegedly stabbed the victim in the upper left side of his back.

Following the attack, both suspects fled the scene on foot before officers from the 102nd Precinct arrived. Emergency responders transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. Law enforcement sources indicated that the man’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Investigators have released a photograph of one of the suspects to aid in the search. Both individuals are described as being between 25 and 30 years old with dark complexions. As of Sunday, no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains active.
