Handroll Bar Rollcraft Debuts on East 10th Street

A new dining option has arrived in the East Village with the opening of Rollcraft, a specialized handroll bar located at 77 E. 10th St. The establishment occupies a compact, 20-seat space designed exclusively for counter service.

The culinary program is led by a team with professional backgrounds at several Michelin-starred New York City institutions, including Jungsik, Cote, Kochi, and Mari. The menu focuses on made-to-order handrolls, featuring selections such as bluefin tuna akami zuke, hiramasa yellowtail seasoned with sesame salt, and a unique cherry tomato variation prepared with katsuobushi. To accompany the food, the restaurant offers a beverage list consisting of draft Suntory The Premium Malt's beer, sake, and a curated selection of wines available by the glass.

In a departure from standard local service models, Rollcraft has implemented a no-tipping policy. The restaurant operates on a first-come, first-served basis and does not accept reservations.

Operating hours are set for Tuesday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Saturdays, the restaurant is open for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and for dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The business remains closed on Sundays and Mondays.
