Pedestrians Hospitalized Following Multi-Vehicle Crash in Bedford-Stuyvesant
A mother and her young child were struck on a sidewalk after a two-car collision sent one vehicle onto the curb.

A 31-year-old woman and her 4-year-old daughter were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision in Bedford-Stuyvesant on the evening of August 3, 2026.
According to law enforcement, the incident took place shortly after 9 p.m. near the intersection of Park and Nostrand Avenues. Authorities report that a 2024 Honda Odyssey, traveling southbound on Nostrand Avenue, collided with a 2023 Fisker Ocean TLC vehicle at the intersection. The impact caused the driver of the Fisker to lose control, resulting in the vehicle mounting the sidewalk and striking the mother and child.
Emergency medical services transported both victims to Bellevue Hospital. While they sustained serious injuries, reports indicate they are expected to recover.
Both drivers involved in the initial collision remained at the scene following the incident. As of the latest update, no arrests have been made, and the circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation by local authorities.
