Citywide Summer Dining Promotion Features Over 600 Participating Restaurants

New York City’s summer dining initiative is currently active, providing residents and visitors with access to prix-fixe menus at a wide array of culinary destinations. According to NYC Tourism + Conventions, the program features more than 600 participating restaurants, spanning over 45 distinct cuisines across the city’s neighborhoods.

Participating venues are offering lunch and dinner options at three set price points: $30, $45, and $60. The event is scheduled to run through Sunday, August 16, though organizers note that individual restaurants have the discretion to extend their promotional offerings through Labor Day.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani stated that the program serves as an opportunity for the public to explore new dining options while supporting local businesses. David Burke, co-chair of the NYC Tourism + Conventions Culinary Committee, described the event as a staple of the city's food culture, designed to highlight both established institutions and emerging eateries.

While the promotion covers a broad range of establishments, diners should be aware that the program excludes Saturdays, and participation on Sundays is optional for individual restaurants. Taxes and gratuity are not included in the prix-fixe pricing.
