New Culinary Destination Coming to Manhattan West This Autumn

Brookfield Properties has announced plans to launch The Market Hall, a sprawling 34,000-square-foot dining destination at 398 10th Avenue. The venue, which is expected to open its doors this fall, aims to serve as a central hub for area residents, office workers, and commuters passing through the nearby Moynihan Train Hall and Hudson Yards.

The new space will house 12 casual food vendors, a full-service restaurant, and a rooftop terrace bar. Among the confirmed culinary partners are the Noho-based pita shop Shifka, the health-focused broth purveyor Springbone, and the San Francisco-style eatery Super Burrito, which is also slated to manage the design of the hall’s bar offerings. Other notable additions include the nutrient-dense concept Matter, Australian-style hand roll specialist Sushi Counter, the Brooklyn-based specialty shop BKLYN Larder, and the salad-focused Alfalfa.

While the developer has indicated that a full schedule of tastings and events will accompany the launch, a specific opening date has not yet been finalized. The Market Hall replaces Citizens New York, the development’s previous food hall, which closed in April 2025.

Beyond the culinary offerings, the project is expected to include various retail and service tenants, though details regarding these businesses remain undisclosed. The Manhattan West neighborhood, which reached completion in 2024, currently features a mix of office towers, residential units, and public open space, already hosting established names such as Ci Siamo and Daily Provisions.
