A new coffee establishment, Loco Cafe, is slated to open its doors in Greenpoint later this month. The business is moving into a 500-square-foot storefront that has seen a high turnover of tenants, having previously served as the home for both Viva La Pizza and Pizza Prince.

According to reports, the space has hosted three different eateries over the past two years. Pizza Prince, the predecessor to Viva La Pizza, ceased operations at the location in 2024.

While representatives for the new cafe have indicated that they are aiming for an opening during the second week of August, they noted that a firm date has not yet been finalized. Residents and coffee enthusiasts should expect further updates as the business nears its launch window.
