Housing Works Cannabis Co. Debuts Neighborhood-Inspired Product Bundles

Housing Works Cannabis Co., the city’s only charity-operated dispensary, has introduced a new line of pre-roll bundles designed to capture the distinct atmosphere of several prominent New York City neighborhoods. Launched this July, the initiative aims to provide a convenient, curated experience for summer visitors who may prefer smaller quantities over the larger bulk items typically found in standard retail offerings.

According to Sasha Nutget, Vice President of Retail at Housing Works, the bundles were developed to bridge the gap between the needs of local residents and the city’s seasonal influx of tourists. "We decided what better way to engage with those tourists than to provide them with a bundle that is really quick and simple," Nutget noted, explaining that the selection of neighborhoods—Harlem, Midtown, the West Village, Soho, and the Upper East Side—was based on the company’s existing physical footprint.

Each bundle is designed to align with the perceived "vibe" of its namesake area. For instance, the Harlem collection features Sativa strains intended to complement active sightseeing and museum visits, while the West Village set focuses on hybrid strains suited for a more relaxed pace of cafe-hopping and local shopping. Every purchase includes a limited-edition lighter as part of the package.

Pricing for the sets ranges from $35 to $55, depending on the specific product selection. While the current offerings are limited to the five initial neighborhoods, the company has indicated that the product line may grow. Although the dispensary currently operates two locations in Brooklyn, those neighborhoods were excluded from this initial launch. Nutget suggested that future iterations could incorporate other prominent city areas, noting that expanding the concept to include Brooklyn is a possibility for subsequent releases.

The bundles are currently available for purchase both in-store and through the company’s online platform. Housing Works Cannabis Co. plans to monitor the performance of these initial sets before determining the scope of any future expansions.
