Two Men Hospitalized Following Early Morning Stabbing in Hell’s Kitchen

Authorities are investigating a double stabbing that occurred in Hell’s Kitchen early Thursday morning, leaving two men hospitalized. Officers from the NYPD’s Midtown North Precinct responded to reports of an assault at the corner of West 46th Street and 8th Avenue shortly before 1:50 a.m. on July 23.

Upon arrival, responding officers discovered a 28-year-old man suffering from two stab wounds to his back and a 31-year-old man with a single stab wound to his back. Emergency medical services transported both victims to Bellevue Hospital, where they were reported to be in stable condition.

Preliminary information from police sources suggests the violence was preceded by a verbal dispute between the victims and two male suspects. Following the attack, the suspects reportedly fled the scene on foot, heading westbound along West 46th Street.

Investigators have released physical descriptions of the individuals sought in connection with the incident. One suspect is described as a man with dreadlocks wearing a white tank top, while the second is described as wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. As of Thursday afternoon, no arrests had been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.

This incident marks the second reported stabbing within the Midtown North Precinct in as many days, following a separate knife attack near Times Square on Wednesday morning that resulted in three injuries.
