Greenpoint Community Calendar: July 23–29

Residents of Greenpoint have several opportunities to engage with local programming throughout the final week of July. The schedule includes events focused on nature education and municipal infrastructure.

On Thursday, July 23, Marsha P. Johnson State Park will host "Tot Time" beginning at 10 a.m. This program is designed for children between the ages of 0 and 5 and includes nature-themed crafts, storytime, and a guided walk. Organizers note that the event is free to attend and does not require advance registration.

Later that evening, the Greenpoint Library will serve as the venue for an "Energy 101" information session. Scheduled for 6 p.m., the event is led by the Sane Energy Project. According to event details, the session aims to provide attendees with information regarding the decision-makers and processes behind public utilities in New York City.
