Lower East Side Marks 46th Annual Festival Calle 6

The Lower East Side Hispanic Committee hosted its 46th annual Festival Calle 6 on August 1, drawing residents to the neighborhood's eastern edge for a day of community-focused programming.
The event, which spanned the blocks of Sixth Street between Avenue D and the FDR Drive, featured a variety of activities intended to highlight local culture and civic resources. Attendees were treated to live musical performances and traditional dancing throughout the afternoon.
