Fatal Stabbing Reported at Long Island City High-Rise
Authorities are investigating the death of a 36-year-old man discovered inside a residential building on Hunter Street.
Police are investigating a homicide after a 36-year-old man was found dead inside a luxury residential building in Long Island City on Saturday, August 1.
Officers responded to the Hayden Apartments on Hunter Street shortly before 1 p.m. following reports of an unresponsive individual. Upon arrival, emergency responders discovered the man suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS personnel.
As of Sunday morning, investigators have not disclosed the identity of the victim, nor have they confirmed whether he was a resident of the building. No information regarding potential suspects or a motive has been released by authorities. The investigation remains ongoing.
