Fatal Road Rage Assault Reported on Belt Parkway

A violent road rage encounter on the Belt Parkway in Queens resulted in the death of a 47-year-old man early Sunday morning, according to law enforcement officials.

Police responded to reports of an assault in progress near Exit 21B on the eastbound side of the parkway shortly after 1 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered 47-year-old Crisanie Dockery unresponsive, suffering from severe head trauma. A second individual, a 39-year-old man, was also found at the scene with minor injuries to his arm.

Emergency responders transported Dockery to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the two men were attacked with a baseball bat following a vehicular collision. Authorities have not yet released details regarding the identity of the assailant or the specific circumstances that led to the crash.

Law enforcement is actively searching for a blue vehicle that was seen departing the area immediately following the incident. The investigation remains ongoing as police work to identify the driver involved in the attack.
