Police Search for Driver Following Violent Collision and Stabbing in Cypress Hills

Law enforcement officials are investigating a violent incident in Cypress Hills that left two people hospitalized in critical condition late Monday night. The event occurred shortly before 10 p.m. on Highland Boulevard, involving a 2009 grey Acura TSX and a motorcycle.

According to reports, the collision resulted in severe injuries for both individuals riding the motorcycle. One victim, an unidentified man, was ejected from the bike and sustained significant head trauma. The second victim, a 17-year-old, was discovered with multiple stab wounds. Both patients were transported to Brookdale University Hospital for emergency treatment.

The driver of the Acura, which was identified as having Pennsylvania license plates, reportedly left the scene before police arrived. Detectives are currently working to determine the sequence of events, including whether the stabbing occurred as a direct result of the crash or if it was related to a separate altercation.
