Authorities Search for Suspect Following Violent Road Rage Stabbing in College Point

A 47-year-old man is recovering in stable condition after being attacked with a meat cleaver during a suspected road rage incident in College Point, Queens, on Thursday morning.

According to reports, the confrontation occurred shortly after 5:35 a.m. at the intersection of 126th Street and 26th Avenue. Investigators believe the violence stemmed from a verbal dispute that escalated following a traffic-related encounter. The victim sustained multiple wounds to his head, arm, and chest during the altercation.

Emergency responders transported the man to New York Presbyterian Queens, where he is currently listed in stable condition.

As of Thursday afternoon, no arrests have been made in connection with the attack. Authorities have released a preliminary description of the suspect, identifying him as an Asian man last seen wearing a white shirt and jeans.
