Grammy-Nominated Producer Audien Schedules Multi-Venue NYC Weekend Takeover

Grammy-nominated producer and DJ Audien is set to host a series of performances across New York City this weekend, marking a return of his "Progressive House Never Died" event brand. The multi-day residency coincides with the release of his latest track, "High Hopes," a collaboration with singer-songwriter Shaun Farrugia.

The weekend schedule begins Friday with a sunset performance at the Azure Rooftop, located at the Arlo Williamsburg. On Saturday, the focus shifts to Manhattan as Audien headlines a showcase at The Rooftop at Pier 17. He will be joined by supporting acts Mike Williams and Justin Mylo for the event, which serves as the latest iteration of a touring series he launched in 2022 to promote melodic progressive house music.

Audien, who hails from Mystic, Connecticut, has seen his event series grow from a fan-focused concept into a touring production that has appeared at major venues including the Brooklyn Mirage and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The producer stated that his new single, "High Hopes," reflects the emotional and melodic qualities that initially drew him to the dance music genre.

Following the Saturday headlining show, organizers have indicated that a surprise afterparty will take place at a location yet to be disclosed.

This weekend’s appearances follow a busy touring season for the artist, who has performed at high-profile venues such as The Sphere in Las Vegas and Red Rocks Amphitheatre earlier this year. Throughout his career, Audien has earned a Grammy nomination for his work on Bastille’s "Pompeii" and has collaborated with artists including Lady A and Echosmith. His current visit to New York is intended to highlight both his recent musical output and his ongoing efforts to maintain the prominence of progressive house within the electronic dance scene.
