Western-Themed Cannabis Event Coming to East Williamsburg

A Western-inspired gathering is scheduled to take place in East Williamsburg next week, as the cannabis brand Anthem brings its "Sunset Showdown" tour to the borough. The event, which has previously visited cities including Phoenix and Chicago, is set to occupy the Brooklyn Roots Collective at 255 Randolph St. on July 29.

Organizers describe the evening as an "elevated" experience, featuring a variety of rodeo-themed activities. Scheduled attractions include mechanical bull rides, line dancing, and on-site engraving for branded lighters. Additionally, Three Kings Tattoo is slated to provide free tattoos for guests throughout the event.

According to promotional materials, the evening will also feature live music, food, and beverage options, alongside opportunities for attendees to participate in giveaways. Guests will have access to Anthem pre-rolls on-site as part of the brand's promotional activities.

The event is free to attend, though organizers emphasize that all participants must be 21 years of age or older. While not mandatory, guests are encouraged to dress in rodeo-inspired attire.
