Brazilian DJ Alok Debuts 'Rave The World' Production at Pacha New York

Electronic music fans in Brooklyn gathered over the weekend for the North American debut of "Rave The World," a new live production from Brazilian superstar Alok. Hosted at the newly reopened Pacha New York, the sold-out event was presented in collaboration with Tomorrowland and aimed to blend immersive storytelling with modern electronic soundscapes.

Alok, known for tracks such as "Hear Me Now" and "Deep Down," utilized the venue to showcase a performance concept he describes as an invitation for collective presence rather than simple escapism. The production is designed to honor the foundational roots of rave culture while integrating large-scale visuals to create a festival-like atmosphere. Supporting sets throughout the evening were provided by SIDEPIECE, Bhaskar, and INNTRAW.

Ahead of the show, Alok noted that selecting New York for the North American launch was a deliberate choice, citing the city’s long-standing influence on global club culture. The performance served as a centerpiece for a busy weekend at Pacha, which also hosted the Ukrainian duo ARTBAT, along with artists Sainte Vie and David Lindmer.

Since its reopening earlier this summer, Pacha New York has focused on securing a roster of internationally recognized talent. The successful execution of the "Rave The World" debut appears to bolster the venue's efforts to re-establish itself as a primary destination for electronic music in the city. As the project prepares for further global rollout, including an upcoming stop in London, the Brooklyn event provided local audiences with the first opportunity to experience the immersive concept firsthand.
