Star-Studded 40/40 Club Pop-Up Highlights Fanatics Fest at Javits Center

The Javits Center became a focal point for sports and entertainment culture this past weekend as Fanatics Fest brought together a massive array of high-profile figures. Central to the event’s allure was an invite-only pop-up iteration of the 40/40 Club, the exclusive lounge co-owned by rapper and entrepreneur Jay-Z.

Designed to mirror the aesthetic of the brand's former Flatiron location, the temporary space was curated with sports memorabilia, including signed jerseys from legendary athletes such as Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and Larry Bird. The venue also paid homage to the MLB’s "40/40 club"—a rare milestone involving 40 home runs and 40 stolen bases in a single season—by displaying signed gear from all six players who have achieved the feat, including Shohei Ohtani and Alex Rodriguez.

Throughout the three-day activation, the club hosted a steady stream of notable guests. Attendees spotted on the blue carpet included LeBron James, Tom Brady, Kevin Hart, Travis Scott, Joe Burrow, and Victor Wembanyama. According to Sherwin Robinson, vice president of operations for the 40/40 Club, the pop-up was intended to provide a premium viewing experience for sports enthusiasts, complete with high-end food and beverage service.

"Since we created the concept it’s always been service first," Robinson stated, noting that the team prioritized finding solutions for guest requests to maintain the brand's reputation. The space was equipped with large-format screens, allowing patrons to follow live sporting events, including the World Cup, which coincided with the festival dates.

The pop-up appearance follows a busy month for Jay-Z, who recently concluded a three-night concert series at Yankee Stadium. Those performances, which celebrated the anniversaries of his albums *Reasonable Doubt* and *The Blueprint*, reportedly set a new ticket sales record for the venue.

While the 40/40 Club pop-up remained restricted to invited guests, the surrounding Fanatics Fest offered a broader experience for sports fans, marking a significant crossover between the worlds of professional sports, music, and fashion in the heart of Manhattan.
